We are a SIM League and we will punish those for violating the following rules!
Settings for the League will be as follows:
6 Minute Quarters
All-Madden Difficulty
Injuries: ON
Fatigue: ON

Advancement and Game Scheduling:
1. We shall be advancing every 2-3 days UNLESS ALL GAMES ARE PLAYED!
2. We have provided a contact list for all owners! So USE IT!!!
3. If you are having trouble getting in touch with your opponent PLEASE let Me or any of the other Commissioners know! Failure to notify us before the advance will result in the game being simmed.
Website:
1. Being active on the Website will be REQUIRED. We expect owners to be on the site AT LEAST once every advance.
Glitches:
1. Any known glitches are NOT ALLOWED WHATSOEVER!
These are just a few examples of glitches(some may not apply to Madden 12 but this is EA we're talking about...)
1). Motioning Glitch
2). DC Glitch
3). Line of Scrimmage Glitch
4). Pause Glitch
5). Pile Up Glitch
6). Nano
7). Rocket Catch
Disconnect Rules:
1. If either player disconnects in the first quarter you shall restart the game completely(unless one player is up significantly).
2A. If a player disconnects in the 2nd Quarter and one player is up 17 or more points the player may count the game as a win.
2B. If a player disconnects in the 2nd Quarter and the lead is less than 17 restart the game.
3. If a player disconnects in the 2nd Half then the team that is winning has the choice to decide on what to do. There are three options to choose from:
1). Start the game over from the beginning.
2). Start the game over and get the game back to the score and time it was at.
3). If it was the 3rd Quarter and the winning team was up 14 they may count the win. If it was the 4th Quarter and the winning team was up 10 they may count the win.
Play Calling :
1. Mixing up playcalling is a MUST!!!
2. We aren't going to set a number limit on screens but remember this is a SIM LG!
Onside Kicks:
You can only Onside Kick if you face one of these deficits:
1. Down by 21 points or more
2. Down in the 4th Quarter.
3. You may use your surprise Onside Kick at the following points in the game:
1). The Beginning of the Game
2). Start of 2nd Half
3). It falls under any of the regular Onside Rules.(not sure if you can surprise onside in M13)
Onside Kicking in any other situation is not allowed.
Goal Line:
1. You CAN NOT use Goal Line formation unless you or your opponent is within 10 yards of the goal line.
2. You CAN use Goal Line on 4th and Inches plays.
BOTH RULES APPLY TO BOTH OFFENSE AND DEFENSE!
No Huddles:
1. You may no huddle within 2 minutes of the end of the 1st Half.
2. You may no huddle during the 4th Quarter IF YOU ARE DOWN.
4th Down Rules:
You may only go for it on 4th Down during these conditions:
1. You are down by at least 21 points any time.
2. 4th & 1 or Inches and past the 50yd line into your opponent's territory.
3. You are up by a large margin and you fall into 4th & 1, punt the ball no matter what. Going for it on 4th Down when you're not in FG range does not show any sportsmanship to your opponent and reflects bad on the league.
4. Fake punts are never allowed
5. Fake Field Goals are only allowed if you are going for the win at the end of a game.
Moving Players:
Defense: You may move one player prior to the snap and you must be user controlling that said player.
Offense: You may manually move a player, however, you can not snap the ball until the player in motion is out side of the tackle or tight end, which ever one is last on the line.
Gentleman's Code:
1. Do not milk the clock all game (hike the ball every time before you get a Delay of Game).
2. When you get a huge lead, run the ball and the clock out.
3. Do not Stat Pad. This means you do not keep throwing when you are up by a large margin or purposely getting players better stats so they look good in the standings.
4. When the game is pretty much over, kneel the ball.
5. You can Trash Talk, but keep it civil and don't push it too far.
6. Use the pocket, that is what your O-Line is for.
7. Do NOT scramble as soon as you hike all the way to the sideline.
8. You should only scramble when you have to, when you're about to get sacked, if you have waited 4 or 5 seconds and no one is open, or if your opponent is not blitzing anyone and leaving everyone in coverage.
9. Do not take advantage of the no scrambling rule on Defense, if you are playing against a scrambling QB like Mike Vick, respect the fact they can run, and use a spy, you can not treat a fast running QB like a pocket passer.
Position Subbing:
HB's cannot play FB.
FB can play HB.
HB's can not be a starting WR unless it is a designed formation.
WR's may NOT play TE.
TE's may play WR at the slot.
Linebackers are interchangeable. MLB can play OLB and OLB can play MLB.
Defensive Lineman are interchangeable. DE's Can play DT and DT's Can play DE.
Defensive Backs are interchangeable. CB can play FS and SS, SS can play CB or FS and FS can play CB or SS.
OLB/DE – DE can play OLB and OLB can play DE.
Failure to follow the rules will lead to suspensions of players from your team, suspensions from the actual League, and loss of future draft picks(i.e. you will pick the worst available player when it is your pick)!!!

1. Trades can not be larger than 3 players to any team involved.
2. A player CAN be traded more than one time in any given season.
3. Multiple Team Trades ARE allowed. In any trade consisting of multiple teams any one team MAY NOT send more than 4 players in the trade and receive no more than 4.
